A: No, Fine points of Basic strategy apply only to one deck games, playing heads up with the dealer and on the very first hand dealt.
Q: Why are multiple decks best?
A: You get more hands dealt per hour, so therefore your win rate is higher. You can also spread your units and play two hands at a time.
Q: What should I learn before counting?
A: You must know basic strategy perfectly so you can concentrate on your running count and betting accurately.
Q: What should I learn after basic strategy in the textbook?
A: You should understand why the five and ten count strategies were devised and study chapter 8, the Plus-Minus strategy. Next go on to our Advanced Plus-Minus strategy. With it you will have a 2.2% advantage. It can be used with 1,2,4,6 and 8 decks. (yellow booklet)

A: You must learn slowly, one step at a time, accuracy is most important! You must develop discipline when learning, and know when to quit playing and get up from the table. You must play to your terms and conditions. Try to quit when you are ahead.

A: No, the surrender strategy is only used with the advanced strategies.
Q: Is basic strategy important? A: Yes. 80% of the time you
will play basic strategy, you must know basic strategy perfectly so you
can concentrate on counting.

A: You must be counting accurately, if your count is inaccurate you will be betting incorrectly the entire session.
Q: Which seat is best to sit in at the table?
A: Statistically, it does not matter. Sit where you can see all of the cards as they are being played. Most people prefer the first or third position. Choose which you like best. Remember the fewer players the better, as your win rate will be higher and you will get more hands delalt per hour .
Q: When do I know to progress to the next strategy?
A: After you are successfully
playing in the casino and only lose 1 session out of 8. You should be able to play comfortably in the casino and converse while playing. Look relaxed and act like the others at the table. You always want to blend in with the other players at any given time.
